Groww continued to strengthen its position in India’s investment market in Q2 FY27, accounting for 43.6% of all new systematic investment plans (SIPs) created during the quarter. The platform also reported strong financial growth, with rising Groww’s SIP inflows, higher mutual fund assets under management, and a growing customer base.

Nearly one in every two new SIPs registered across the mutual fund industry during Q2 FY27 was created on Groww. This highlights the platform’s growing role in helping Indian investors access mutual funds and begin their investment journeys.

Groww’s SIP Inflows Rise 27.48%

Groww’s SIP inflows reached ₹14,347 crore in Q2 FY27, registering a 27.48% year-on-year increase. The growth was more than double the mutual fund industry’s growth rate of 12.38% during the same period.

SIPs allow investors to invest a fixed amount in mutual funds at regular intervals. This approach helps individuals build an investment habit without needing to invest a large sum at once. Groww’s growing share of new SIP registrations reflects its increasing presence in India’s retail investment market.

Mutual Fund AUM Reaches ₹2.06 Lakh Crore

Groww’s direct mutual fund assets under management (AUM) increased to ₹2.06 lakh crore, up 7.82% from approximately ₹1.9 lakh crore in the previous quarter.

On a year-on-year basis, its mutual fund AUM grew 45.9%, compared with industry growth of 9.3%. This indicates that Groww’s mutual fund business expanded at nearly five times the industry’s growth rate.

The platform’s digital interface allows users to explore mutual funds, start investments, and manage their portfolios in one place.

Net Profit Increases 54% Year-on-Year

Groww also reported strong financial performance during the quarter. Its consolidated net profit stood at ₹725 crore, marking a 54% increase year-on-year.

The company’s total transacting users reached 2.4 crore, while total customer assets grew 46% to ₹3.9 lakh crore.

These figures demonstrate growth across multiple business indicators, including profitability, user activity, and customer assets.

What Groww’s Growth Means for India’s Investment Market

Groww’s Q2 FY27 performance highlights the expanding role of digital platforms in India’s investment ecosystem. Easier access to financial products and the convenience of online investing have helped more individuals explore mutual funds and systematic investing.

With 43.6% of new SIP registrations, rising mutual fund AUM, and higher profitability, Groww continues to strengthen its position in the market.

Its latest results reflect not only business expansion but also the growing importance of digital investment platforms in how Indians approach long-term wealth creation.
