Edgehax Funding: IPV Leads ₹1.39 Crore Round in Edge AI Hardware Platform

In a significant boost for India’s deep-tech hardware ecosystem, the Edgehax funding round has successfully closed at ₹1.39 crore. The seed round for the Bengaluru-based, full-stack Edge AI platform was led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).

Founded by Prabhu Stavarmath and Savitri Patil, Edgehax will use this capital to:

  • Scale manufacturing of its modular AI computing boards
  • Accelerate product development
  • Expand into international markets, including Singapore, the US, and Europe

Edgehax’s hardware integrates compute, connectivity, and storage on a single board. It has real-world use cases spanning industrial gateways, humanoid robots, autonomous vehicles, drones, defence systems, and NavIC-based tracking solutions.

So far, the startup has:

  • Partnered with over 150 startups, OEMs, and enterprises
  • Enabled 100,000 students and faculty across 30+ universities and IITs with developer kits
  • Shipped more than 5,000 edge gateway boards, with plans to roll out an additional 10,000 compute modules by December 2025

At Startup Veda, we spotlight founders who push the boundaries of innovation. The journey of Prabhu Stavarmath and Savitri Patil is a powerful example of how homegrown hardware-first solutions can transform industries.
