PhysicsWallah Sets IPO Stage With Strong Anchor Backing
Edtech unicorn PhysicsWallah raised ₹1,562.85 crore from 57 anchor investors, allocating 14.33 crore equity shares at ₹109 each—marking a major milestone ahead of its IPO. The anchor portion drew bids worth nearly ₹20,000 crore, an oversubscription of around 13 times, reflecting strong market confidence.
Top domestic institutions such as ICICI Prudential, Kotak, Nippon India, Aditya Birla Sun Life, DSP, Motilal Oswal, and Tata led the anchor list, joined by Bharti AXA Life, Edelweiss, and Canara Robeco. International giants like Capital Research, Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, PineBridge, Eastspring, and White Oak Capital added further credibility.
As PhysicsWallah’s IPO opens for subscription, this anchor support underscores belief in its growth story and ability to scale across education segments.
